What is the difference between the Global Health Patient Portal and HotHealth forms?
The main difference is that Patient Portal syncs data directly to your MasterCare PAS and takes the data input from the admission form and puts it on your PDF version. Depending on your Hospital’s needs, you can find which works better for you.
The Patient Portal is a fantastic tool for pre-admission forms because it not only remembers information for the next time a patient has to do an admission form, but the data is also mapped to your PAS, further decreasing the time your staff need to spend on administration. Further to that, Patient Portal also allows your staff to log in and see the status of sent forms versus completed forms.
Currently, HotHealth forms cannot integrate directly with your PAS data fields. However, it does allow for forms to be completed without logging in, which is great for forms such as patient satisfaction or non-patient data related forms. Forms can also be sent via ReferralNet so you can save the completed form against the client file.
