At HotHealth, we’re always looking for ways to help healthcare providers, community organisations and businesses deliver better digital experiences to their clients and patients. Our latest updates to the Digital Forms platform take security, accessibility and flexibility even further, helping you create forms that truly fit your workflow and your community’s needs.
Here’s a look at what’s new.
1. Stronger security with CAPTCHA for anonymous submissions
Now you can add CAPTCHA for users who aren’t logged into HotHealth when submitting a form. It’s a simple but powerful way to protect your organisation from spam and automated submissions – ensuring the data you collect is genuine.
2. More control over submission PDFs
Not every form submission needs to be downloaded by the user. You can now:
- Choose to disable user access to a PDF copy of their submission.
- Create a custom “Patient Form” PDF that looks exactly how you’d like it to appear for the user.
- Create a different “Clinical Form” PDF sent directly to your team via ReferralNet, tailored to your internal workflows.
This ensures the right information is shared with the right people, in the right format.
3. Linked forms for seamless workflows
Multi-step processes, such as onboarding or consent collection, just became easier. You can now link two forms together so that when someone completes the first form, its data pre-fills the next. Less duplication, fewer mistakes, and a smoother experience for your clients.
4. Multilingual support and voice overs for inclusivity
Reach more people in your community by offering forms that:
- Can be displayed in up to 80 languages.
- Include voice overs, either system-generated or user-uploaded, guiding users through each question – perfect for visually impaired users or those who prefer listening.
5. Richer, more engaging forms
You can now embed images directly within your forms – ideal for including diagrams, branding elements, or step-by-step instructions. And with iFrame support, you can display your forms seamlessly within your own website, keeping your brand front and centre.
6. Smarter, personalised experiences
Your forms can now:
- Pre-populate fields based on a user’s last submission.
- Draw data directly from the user’s Lifecard profile.
- Allow users to complete and submit forms on behalf of Lifecard sub-accounts they manage – for example, a parent filling out forms for their child.
This saves time, reduces errors, and makes form-filling far less repetitive.
7. Friendly reminders for drafts
When users save a form as a draft, your team can now set up automated reminder emails – configurable to match your communication style and timing. Helping more users come back to finish what they started.
